L'hotel is situated in the historical centre, close to the congress centre of the city, only 100 meters from the railway station, The Business Palace and the Congress Palace and close to the trade fair of Fortezza da Basso

The building was build in the 14th century, before was a convent and later became a property of the family Strozzi, afterward it was bought from the France poet Alphonse De Lamartine. Since 1950 become a hotel, with 27 en suite rooms, with halls painted in fresco. The hotel is situated a few minutes away from the main museums of Florence.
Breakfast is available from 07:30h to 09:30h in the breakfast room, the focal point of which is the monastery’s original stone fireplace. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but the bar is open all day.
